Five kinds of lubrication methods for imported bearings

One: bearing grease injection method:

The effect of the amount of grease on the sealing performance A large number of tests have proved that when the amount of grease is less than about 30% of the volume of the internal cavity of the imported bearing, the grease is not lost due to the fact that the grease does not reach saturation in the bearing. When the amount of grease is more than 30%, the inside of the bearing is partially saturated. When the amount of grease is 50%, the grease in the bearing is fully saturated, and the excess grease is "squeezed out". In particular, sometimes, although there are not many fat injections, the grease injection method is not standardized and scientific, resulting in uneven grease in the bearing cavity, and local saturation in the bearing may occur, resulting in early rapid "squeezing".

As for the homogenization process, it is recommended that the rotation speed be increased a little. Sealed bearing test and evaluation The test method of sealed bearing is developed for different performance characteristics and uses of sealed bearings. The focus is different, and the test content is different, but each performance test is an important special study. The content and sealing of imported bearing test and evaluation methods are also important means to verify and improve design and quality control.

1, manual lubrication

When it is found that the lubricating oil of the imported bearing is insufficient, it is the most primitive method to use the oiler to supply oil at the right time. This method is difficult to maintain a certain amount of oil, and the risk of forgetting to refuel due to negligence is large, and is usually only used in light load, low speed or intermittent motion. It is preferable to provide a dust cover or a ball valve on the oil hole, and use a felt, cotton, wool or the like as a filtering device.

2, oil pad lubrication

The oil in the oil sump is applied to the shaft diameter surface by capillary action of the oil pad. This method allows the friction surface to be kept clean, but the dust can also clog the capillary holes and cause insufficient oil supply. Oil pad lubrication is usually only 1/20 of oil lubrication.

3, oil ring lubrication

Can only be used for lubrication methods on the horizontal shaft. The oil in the oil sump is brought into the bearing by a ring that is hung on the shaft and rotatable. Suitable for medium and high speed imported bearings with shaft diameters greater than 50mm. The oil ring is preferably seamless. When the aspect ratio of the imported bearing is less than 2, only one oil ring can be used, otherwise two oil rings are required.

4, splash bearing

Lubricating oil that is splashed by the slamming of the rotating parts in the fuel tank is supplied to the inlet bearing and is suitable for bearings of higher speed.

5, oil bath lubrication

A method of lubricating a part of a bearing into a lubricating oil. This method is often used for vertical shaft thrust bearings and is not suitable for radial inlet bearings for horizontal shafts.

The important role of SKF non-standard bearing lubrication in the elimination of the guide

In general, non-standard bearings heat up after they start running, and after a period of time, they are at a lower temperature (usually 10 to 40 degrees higher than room temperature). The normal time is different depending on the size, form, rotation speed, lubrication method of the SKF bearing, and the exothermic conditions around the non-standard bearing. It takes about 20 minutes to several hours.

When the temperature of the non-standard bearing does not reach the normal state and the abnormal temperature rises, the following reasons may be considered. In addition, the machine should be stopped as soon as possible and necessary countermeasures should be taken. Temperature is essential for maintaining the proper life of non-standard bearings and preventing deterioration of lubricating oil. It is recommended to use as much as possible under non-high temperature conditions (generally below 100 degrees). The main cause of abnormal temperature rise is too much or too little. Poor installation of SKF bearings. The internal clearance of non-standard bearings is too small, or the load is too large. The friction of the seal is too large. The lubricant does not match. The creep of the mating surface.

1. Firstly, the parts of the SKF bearing are lubricated to reduce the friction and wear of the bearing;

2. The rolling contact surface of the bearing often forms an appropriate oil film to prolong the fatigue life of the non-standard bearing;

3. The heat generated by friction or other reasons inside the bearing is removed by lubrication;

4. Through lubrication, it can achieve anti-rust and dust-proof effects on non-standard bearings.

Therefore, we must correctly understand the importance of lubrication for SKF bearings, improve bearing performance and reduce consumption.
